Role Summary:
The Occupational Therapist will assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions to help patients regain functional abilities in daily activities. The role involves working with patients across orthopedic, neurological, pediatric, and geriatric conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive functional and occupational assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy focused on ADLs, cognitive skills, and fine-motor functions
- Prescribe adaptive devices and train patients/caregivers in their use
- Collaborate with physiotherapists, speech therapists, and consultants
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor/master’s in occupational therapy (BOT/MOT)
- Registered with relevant statutory council (if applicable)
- 0–3 years of clinical experience
Preferred Qualifications (Optional):
- Experience in neurorehabilitation or pediatric OT
- Training in sensory integration
Core Competencies:
- Strong clinical reasoning
